Del Mar Sky Deck is a gastronomic food hall that aims to create a community-oriented gathering space for dining. The space is a series of individual restaurants and eateries that showcases only local San Diego cuisine and fusions from around the world. Nine individual restaurants surround a centralized cocktail bar, a co-working café and an elevated beer garden named Brewer’s Deck that can be accessed through the interior winding stairs or elevator clad in custom Corten steel.

The interior space also integrates 6,000 square feet of exterior patios offering various outdoor communal areas and opportunities to converse with fellow neighbors. I played a particular role in the public bathroom design, a space where nautical motifs became the driving force for the design.
